Niimfer World is being developed by The Barking Dog Entertainment, which is a game studio founded in 2018, starting from AR/VR immersive games. At the end of 2019, besides the original game published, we provide a lot of customized services such as producing interactive AR games for brand marketing and providing simulating purposed AR/VR content.
Currently, the team consists of 26 full-time employees and has its headquarters in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The founding team consists of the following individuals:
CEO： Dean Hsu (Guan-Wen Hsu), Founder of The Barking Dog Entertainment.
Dr. Hsu received his doctoral degree from the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering (GICE), National Taiwan University. He used to serve as concurrently Assistant Professor of National Sun-Yet Sen University, 2020~2021. His interest focused on entertaining content design and movie production, therein, he was good at combining the new technologies, such as AIoT and AR/VR, with the creative content to produce the interactive works. Due to his positive thinking, the team member was encouraged to face the challenge and conquer the problems, and keep learning.
CTO： Claire Ma, Co-Founder of The Barking Dog Entertainment.
She received her master's degree from the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering (GICE), National Taiwan University, in 2016. During graduate school, she won the student’s Best Paper Award of National Taiwan University, 2016, and related papers had published on the Journal list. In 2018, She served as a software/game engineer and made the amazing RPG VR-horror game-“The Chinese Zombie Villa” in Asia, and won the “Best Selection Award” , and was nominated “Best Creative Award” by VRCore as well, 2018. Now, she is focusing on researching and organizing the RD team to develop the blockchain game and website.
CCO: Sean Liao, The supervisor of the board of The Barking Dog Entertainment.
Sean received his master's degree from EMBA Master Program, National Central University. He use to be the director/協理 of XAC (樂美館), dealing with 50+ AAA art/vision management works. In 2019, Sean produced the VR-interactive film-“The Spirits” , which is nominated by Palm Springs International Film Festival. Also, he received the “ 100-MVP” manager award, Taiwan, by “Manager Magazine”, 2014. Now, he is our chief content officer.
